1999 Harley Sportster Bobber
Tony from Mayville, New York, United States sent us these photographs of his 1999 Harley Sportster Bobber. The motor is an 883cc Harley Davidson Evo.
Tony: "You are looking at a 1999 Harley Davidson 883C (Custom) Sportster Bobber which I ride every day. The bike has 12" apes on the stock risers. Most of the chrome has been scotchbrited..for that satin aluminum finish (Exile look)."
Tony: "21" front spoked wheel, 16" solid rear wheel. Tires are Dunlop (Harley Davidson on the side wall). This Bobber also has rear struts for that hardtail ride (I though it would ride a lot worse, but actually it is not bad at all)."
Tony: "Drag pipes with baffles, high heat flat black paint & pipe wrap. Forward controls. I replaced the clutch cable, throttle / idle cables and I ran the wires in the handlebars when I put apes on bike. Most of the chrome has been scotchbrited..for that satin aluminum finish (Exile look)."
Here she is fitted with a true oldschool saddle pad.
Tony: "The gas tank (peanut) has a Crime Scene Choppers cap with bung welded into tank. Custom petcock, I resealed tank with Kreem liner. Screaming Eagle 8.8mm spark plug wires. Badlands load equalizer."
Tony: "The rear fender has been bobbed, rear Kuryakyn LED turn signals with smoked lenses. 1928 Ford model A tail light on a sidemount. Charcoal grey metalflake seat and grips."
